Our Information, advice and assistance Services includes a range of projects. These services ensure that people with a sensory loss are able to access the service they need in their preferred language.

What is IAA?

Whether the service is delivered online, remotely or face to face, we can assist members of the community with a wide range of issues, from making GP appointments, to carrying out benefit checks. We can provide support to service providers ensuring they are able to meet their responsibilities under the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014.

Are you Deaf or hard of hearing and need support with medical and clinical appointments and bookings? Well if you live in North Wales then this service can support you.

COS IAA Service

COS often supports Local Authorities in providing additions support for people who are Deaf or Hard of hearing with information, advice and assistance appointments.


COVID has changed the world and lives over everyone. This has an a real impact on the most vulnerable. COS has been funded by the Steve Morgan Foundation and the Moondance Foundation to provide an emergency COVID IAA service until April 2022.
